Copyright & Takedown

Simp respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. If you believe that content on Simp infringes your copyright, you can ask us to remove it.

How to send a notice

Email your notice to support@simp-app.com with the subject line “Copyright notice”. Please include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • Enough information for us to locate the material in the app (for example a username and a description or screenshot of the content).
  • Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review valid notices and act on them, which normally means removing or disabling access to the material. We may notify the user who posted it. If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you can reply to us with an explanation and we will review it.

Repeat infringers

Users who repeatedly upload content that infringes copyright may have their accounts permanently removed from Simp.
